STEINAU, JEFFERY ROBERT, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011.

A native of Louisville, he was a 1969 graduate of Waggener and a 1974 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He was a sales representative for USG Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Steinau.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Morgan Steinau; daughter, Andrea M. Steinau; mother, Kay E. (Hopson) Steinau; brother, Todd Steinau (Kristy); sister, Julie Steinau; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Second to his family was his love for boating and spending time with friends. His family and many friends will forever miss his infectious laughter that always uplifted everyone's spirit.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 11 a.m. on Thursday. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St. LaGrange, KY, with burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude Hospital, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or the Humane Society.
